Accessibility

A usable website for as many people as possible

Our website complies with WCAG 2.2 level AA. This statement describes the scope, the controls carried out, and how you can report an accessibility issue.

Accessibility from the design stage

Semantic structure, keyboard operation, visible focus, text alternatives, error messages, status messages, reflow and color contrast are included in the design and technical quality control.

Declaration of compliance of September 10, 2026: the website described below meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. The assessment includes all 55 success criteria of levels A and AA. Criteria for features that do not occur, such as prerecorded video, are recorded as not applicable.

Scope

This statement applies to the website at https://charternine.com: the 19 public pages in our page overview, the certificate check and the associated verification pages, the customer portal and the administration area. This includes the complete processes for contact, sign-in, access codes, intake, case management, certificate publication and privacy requests, including the embedded bot check. Websites to which we link are outside this statement.

Performed checks

On September 9 and 10, 2026, automatic checks were combined with manual tests for keyboard operation, visible focus, contrast, narrow screens, adjusted text spacing, and real browser zoom up to 200%. Detected issues were corrected and retested.

The screen reader NVDA was used for selected form labels, error messages, status messages, and the privacy dialog. Important customer and management processes were practically run in a separate test environment. Among other things, input, access codes, confirmations, focus, and session extension were checked.

The website relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA for accessibility. Practical checks were carried out with Chromium and Google Chrome on Windows, using NVDA for the selected screen reader tests. For relevant changes, we reassess accessibility.

What you can expect
